Premier Accuses Meta of Not Representing Office of President

Prime Minister Edi Rama declared Monday that the President of the Republic, Ilir Meta does not represent the office of the President.

At the end of the meeting of the Socialist Party (SP) group, Rama even added that Meta secretly goes out and campaigns for the party managed by his wife, implying Socialist Movement for Integration.

"I do not think that Ilir Meta's illegal activity needs comments. It is visible to everyone. Ilir Meta is not at the height of the task assigned to him by the Constitution, but at any level justifiable for any person who has lost contact with the brain of the head.

A President who speaks in street language moves day and night for electoral purposes, who has formally occupied the office of the President, loses every day a level in relation to the duty, there is no need for me to comment. Everyone sees, feels and will condemn him on April 25, it is beyond any possibility for them," Rama said.
