President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, has spoken about the scandal of McGonigal, who is accused of hiding meetings with Prime Minister Edi Rama. 

Although reserved in his answer, Begaj said that he had not talked with the Prime Minister about this issue, but it was known by the media. 

"I expect the competent institutions to make their analyzes and then I will come out with my personal opinion," said the President, who appreciated the opposition's request to SPAK to investigate this issue.

"It is very good that the opposition has addressed the law enforcement institutions in the country to deal with the process. And so it should be. We must have faith in the institutions", noted the President of the Republic.
