President Honors Late Albright in 23rd Year after NATO’s Kosovo Intervention
President of the Republic, Ilir Meta has commemorated Thursday the contribution of former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, who passed away on Wednesday, on the 23rd anniversary of NATO and US intervention to stop ethnic cleansing in Kosovo.
In his statement, the Head of State said that he will always be grateful for its sincere and energetic commitment to strengthening the strategic relations between Albania and the USA for the interest of the two friendly peoples.

We will always remember him for the great role and contribution given to the Liberation of Kosovo, especially today, when it is 23 years old, from the day when the US and NATO decided to intervene to end the genocide and ethnic cleansing in Kosovo", underlined President Meta.
