The President of the country, Ilir Meta, held this Tuesday a meeting with the former US special envoy of the White House for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Richard Grenell. 

The news was made public by the president himself through a post on social media, where, among other things, he praised the commitment of the American diplomat in support of further strengthening the relations between the US and Albania. 

"It is always a pleasure to have Richard Grenell in Albania and in my office. His commitment in support of further strengthening of relations and cooperation between Albania and the United States is highly appreciated," wrote President Meta.
