Rama in Pristina, Welcomed by Osmani, but Not Kurti

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama participated Monday on the 25 anniversary of NATO intervention to make Kosovo free.

In this official visit, Premier was welcomed by the President Vjosa Osmani, but not by his counterpart, Albin Kurti.

The government spokesperson, Perparim Kryeziu declared that Rama was invited by Kurti in an activity on June 12.

During his visit, Rama gave a message even for the Kosovo's government.

"Today, we are in a process where the approach to foreign policy, as domestic policy, and the use of communication platforms abroad as platforms to get votes here, deepens more and more and in an increasingly disturbing form. This, of course, can have electoral success, but this leaves Kosovo with less and less trust from its international friends and allies.

In my view, since we are talking about Ibrahim Rugova today, if Kosovo will give up from this "cat and mouse" game with Serbia and to talk with the European Union to fulfill all the obligations that it have in the context of international standards and European Union standards and to get closer to EU," said Rama.
