The Minister of Interior Affairs, Taulant Balla, reacted after the arrest of the vice commissar of the state police Kastriot Palushi.

In a short statement in his social media, Balla said that the police officer was arrested for 'Abuse of Office' as he confirmed that police is being cleaned everyday.

"The process of self-purification of the State Police from those who do not deserve the trust of the citizens and the Police uniform continues. The Police Oversight Agency in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana have arrested a police officer, suspected of "Abuse of duty" and "Passive corruption", said Balla.
