Strong earthquake with a 5.2 magnitude of the Richter scale was recorded in the early hours of Wednesday in western Turkey.

According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the quake occurred at 05:21 near Antalya.

The depth of the tremor was recorded at 40 km, while no injuries or damage have been reported so far.

On its part, the EMSC revealed also the map where the earthquake took place, noting: Map of felt reports received so far following the earthquake M5.2 in Western Turkey.
