Prime Minister Edi Rama has shared good news for all those citizens who hold a driving license. 

Through a post on ‘Facebook’, the head of government stressed that starting from November this year, the fees for the patents that will be renewed, will be drastically reduced. Thus, their price will be from ALL 3500 to ALL 2000.

"GOOD NEWS, about 30.000 applicants per year renew their driving license (with a validity period due to age or health specifics, in only 2, 3 or 5 years. From November 2021 these applicants will benefit from a drastic reduction of the fee from ALL 3,500 to ALL 2,000.

So all renewals of driving licenses of class B, with a limited term of 3 or 5 years, as well as those with restrictions for health reasons will cost -43%. In addition to modernization, the entity has a mission to diversify between innovations and innovations to compensate for the regulation of those tariffs that help the most vulnerable but also the most exposed to payments," stated Rama.
