State Intelligence Service (SHISH) Employees are among the highest paid people in Albania, according to the latest personal data released on WhatsApp.  

The personal data of more than 630 thousand people where the salary is included, the ID number, the company where they work, and even how many hours a week they work, are now accessible even to ordinary citizens. The list in an excel format saved with the note "Salaries January 2021" has been circulating since last night on the WhatsApp application and anyone can ask for someone else's salary, just enter his exact name. 

The list of 637,138 public and private sector employees starts with people who are the highest paid in the country. What stands out is the fact that the highest paid official in the country is an employee of the State Intelligence Service, who in the last name column is identified as "Anonymous Anonymous" and it turns out that he receives a monthly salary of 58,074,817.00 ALL. The state institution that compiled this list, due to the sensitive data of this person who works in SHISH, has taken care that in the categories "Profession" and "Category" does not specify it by placing the note "Unspecified". 

In the 22 highest paid persons in Albania, it turns out that 5 persons work in the State Intelligence Service and their salaries range from 4 million ALL to 9 million ALL per month. 

The Prosecution has launched verifications to shed light on this possible scandal, similar to that of the publication of voter data, the so-called patronageists' scandal. The prosecution is investigating the authenticity of this list and its source, which is suspected to be social security or the Tax Directorate.
