The General Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Joana Duro, was arrested this Friday.

The arrest was made by order of the Special Prosecutor's Office (SPAK) and Duro is suspected of corruption.

Another employee of the Ministry of Health, Laura Shteto was also arrested.

Prime Minister Edi Rama also reacted to the event a little while ago, who, in his thank-you tour in Tirana, said that the lack of sense of ethics and falling to this level is terrible.
