The Speacial Court against Crime and Corruption has ordered the detention in custody of Embro Sulejmani and Fatjon Kalluçi as part of an investigation linked to Albania’s State Intelligence Service (SHISH).

The court imposed the security measure of pre-trial detention on both men.

According to journalist Anila Hoxha, Sulejmani told the court that he knows Ergys Agasi because they are both from Durrës.

“I do not know what crime I have committed. I took him soup and food,” Sulejmani was quoted as saying.

Kalluçi, a forensic police officer, reportedly denied remembering having sent any classified documents, as alleged by Albania’s Special Prosecution Office (SPAK).

The case remains under investigation, and the allegations against the two men have not been established by a final court ruling.
