Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, has announced that she is willing to resign, but her request has been rejected by President Aleksandar Vucic. 

In her statement, Brnabic said that she is not against the elections, adding that she is "loyal to Serbia and President Vucic". 

"Given the writings of the media magnates, to be clear, I am ready at any moment to resign as prime minister, and the president of Serbia knows this and at the moment refuses. Maybe he will change his mind", tweeted Brnabi?.
