SPAK Requires a Year in Jail for Former Roads Authority Director
The Special Prosecution against Corruption (SPAK) required this Tuesday one year in jail for the former director of the Road Authority, Sonila Qato.
She is accused for the criminal offense of 'Violation of equality in tenders' for the tender of EUR 19 million of Skërfica tunnel in the road Kardhiq-Delvinë.
Meanwhile for the other officials part of this case, SPAK required 2 years in jail for Simon Prendi, and the same for Almir Hoxhaj and Arbër Troka.
On the other side, for Ardit Salillari was required 9 months in jail, for Admir Pahumin one year and for Nikollaq Mihali, 8 months.
Investigations for Qato and the other officials, started on 2022.
