Prosecution of Posacme against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) requested this Monday the arrest of former minister Arben Ahmetaj.

The letter arrived this morning at the Presidency of the Assembly, requesting the arrest of Arben Ahmetaj and the search of his apartment.

Against Ahmetaj the Special Prosecution has filed charges of abuse of office, corruption, money laundering and concealment of wealth.

Within two days, according to the regulation of the Assembly, Nikola is expected to convene the Council of Mandates regarding the SPAK request for the arrest of the former minister.
