The Speaker of the Parliament, Gramoz Ruçi, met this Monday with the Ambassador of the Netherlands, Guusje Korthals Altes, on the occasion of the completion of its mission in Albania. 

Ruçi praised the contribution of Ambassador Altes in strengthening bilateral relations and in particular the contribution to informing the Parliament and the Government and the Netherlands on the achievements of Albania in its European journey. 

"I express the gratitude of the Albanian Parliament for the encouraging position of the Dutch Parliament for holding the First Intergovernmental Conference with Albania as well as for the increase of Dutch investments in Albania. 

Very good bilateral relations are also reflected in the growth of economic cooperation. For the third year in a row, the Netherlands is the largest investor in Albania and we are confident that this cooperation will be expanded and strengthened," said Parliament Speaker Gramoz Ruçi. 

Ambassador Guusje Korthals Altes thanked the Speaker of the Assembly, Gramoz Ruçi, for the appreciation of her work as well as the cooperation between the two countries and underlined that the Netherlands will continue to support Albania's European integration, consolidation of European values ​​in our country and holding the First Intergovernmental Conference with Albania as soon as possible and increasing Dutch investments in Albania.
