This Saturday at 11:00 at the Presidency, the swearing-in ceremony of Taulant Balla as the Minister of the Interior will be held. 

"Today at 11:00 at the Institution of the President of the Republic, the swearing-in ceremony for Mr. Taulant Balla, in the position of Minister of the Interior will be held", announced the presidency.

The Parliament approved on July 13, with 75 votes in favour, 16 against, 1 abstention, the appointment of Balla, who will replace Bledi Çuçi after his dismissal. 

The latter was fired by Prime Minister Edi Rama after the serious incident in Thumana, where the relatives of former MP Rrahman Rraja brutally assaulted two people who reported damage to their homes from a quarry in Borizana.
