About a month after the elevator accident that took the life of the 17-year-old in the surroundings of his bar, the owner, who was wanted, was arrested. 

The 37-year-old owner with the initials S.I. a resident of Saranda was detained by the Border Police of Qafë Bota. 

Meanwhile, the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Sarandë has assigned to this citizen, the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Violation of the rules of protection at work", since on 26.08.2023, in the bar in owned by him, due to the rupture of the elevator cable, a 17-year-old employed in this bar lost his life. 

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Sarandë, for further actions.
