The closure of the main doors of the Democratic Party headquarters caused problems even to the leader, Lulzim Basha. The last couldn't access the frontal entrance after the end of the coffee table he had with the journalists and used the back door to enter in his office. 

The coffee time coincided with the hour when supporters of former Prime Minister Berisha's group as well as FRPD youths chose to go to the blue headquarters.

After knocking on the central door, they held statements to the media on the steps of the headquarters and then left, while the leader of the Democrats, Basha, entered the headquarters, after coffee with the journalists.

During the gathering in front of DP, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs and supporter of historical leader Sali Berisha, Aldo Bumçi highlighted that the Group for Re-establishment has been tolerant with Chairman Basha as he warned that the PD building will be liberated on January 8.

"We came here together with Mr. Strazimiri, Ivi Kaso, with the leaders of the three branches of Tirana, Ali Demi, Xhamlliku and 21 December. We had scheduled a work meeting and there is no other place to do it besides our house.

As you can see this has turned into a bunker, a party that has been closed neither in the most difficult days, nor when it had government, nor in '97. For the first time in 30 years, Basha's party has closed its doors.

When asked how they would make this liberation and if there would be physical conflict, he replied that they chose the institutional path.

We chose the institutional path. We did not resolve the conflict on the streets, we asked for institutions, a vote. We could have intervened on December 11 at any moment. We gave him time for a reason because we want the good of the opposition, of the Democrats, and we have been tolerant for that reason.

But this is not a matter of whim and force. 44 thousand Democrats have voted and that will will go to the country. I have a call for my friends, colleagues in the DP who support Mr. "Basha, they can not behave as if this is an issue between Basha and Berisha, no, 44.000 democrats voted, those who made them deputies", said Bumçi.
