Jealousy was the cause of the massacre in the Albanian family in Italy, where Taulant Malaj killed his 16-year-old daughter, who tried to protect her mother from her father's aggression. 

The 45-year-old also massacred the Italian citizen, Massimo De Santis with a knife, with whom he suspected that his wife was cheating on him. 

The Albanian has narrated his version of the incident before the Italian investigators. 

"My wife admitted that she had an affair with Massimo. She apologized to me for this extramarital affair, but I wanted to separate", he declared. 

According to him, in the last few days there have been debates in the family precisely about the suspected treason. He said that he had asked his wife to separate, but the latter had convinced him to stay at home. 

Malaj stated that he had found the woman several times on the third floor of the building, where the 51-year-old lived. 

But what happened in the early hours of Sunday morning? 

He confessed that he was in bed with his wife and she started talking to someone on the phone. 

The 45-year-old checked her phone and discovered that she was exchanging messages with their neighbour, Massimo. 

Then he left the house and waited for the Italian to return from the bar to his apartment. 

As soon as the 51-year-old man entered the house, Taulant Malaj said he stabbed him to death. 

He told investigators that after the massacre, Malaj returned to his apartment and began to stab the woman and then the daughter, who tried to protect her mother. 

"At that moment, blinded by rage, he did not realize that he was in front of the girl and started stabbing her," said the lawyers. 

Meanwhile, Taulant Malaj started looking for his little son to kill him, but the 5-year-old escaped after hiding behind the sofa.
