Three Kosovo Policemen Kidnapped by Serbian Forces

Three policemen inside the territory of Kosovo are kidnapped by the Cobra forces of Serbia. 

The Police of Kosovo has announced that in the depth of the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, in the border area in the north of the country, it is suspected that three border patrol officials have been kidnapped. 

Likewise, various Serbian media have reported that the members of the Serbian special units have arrested the Kosovo Police officials. 

Serbian media Novosti has published the names and photos of the arrested policemen. It is about policemen Rifat Zeka, Beqir Sefi and Mustafa Shemi. 

"The Kosovo Police (KP), in this case the border patrol police unit was on duty at a static point in the place called Tresave/Bare, deep inside the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, to prevent the use of illegal roads, which were used from criminal groups for illegal crossing and smuggling. 

Today, at noon, the police unit, which was made up of three border officials, announced that in the vicinity of the static point, they noticed a masked and armed person/s, additional units were sent to assist in the direction of this point. 

Upon reaching that location, the assistance units noticed only the official car, but not the police officers who were on duty at that location. In the direction of this location, other police units immediately went, as well as other security institutions, including KFOR, were informed, as it is suspected that the police officers were kidnapped by the Serbian forces. 

In order to take concrete actions for the safety of the police officers suspected to have been kidnapped by the Serbian forces, all local and international mechanisms have been contacted so that they are released as soon as possible and returned to the Kosovo Police. 

Likewise, various Serbian media have reported that the members of the Serbian special units have arrested the Kosovo Police officials," Kosovo police said.
