Apple has just unveiled the new iPhone 14 range. Tim Cook unveiled the much-anticipated phone at the event being held in California. 

The iPhone 14 comes with a 6.1-inch screen while the iPhone 14 Plus comes with a larger 6.7-inch screen. The new iPhone 14 uses the same chip as last year's iPhone 13 Pro model. 

It comes with a 12 MP main camera with bigger pixels, a faster shutter and improved sensors. For the first time, the new front camera has autofocus, allowing it to focus at multiple distances in low light for better individual and group selfies.

It also has a new action mode that allows users to keep videos steady while moving. The iPhone 14 costs $799, while the iPhone 14 Plus comes in at $899. Apple announced that the latest models eliminate the need for a physical SIM card and instead use a digital one, the "e-SIM". 

With this option, you can store multiple e-SIM cards on the same device and have multiple numbers on the same phone. Apple also unveiled the long-rumored satellite connectivity feature called Emergency SOS via Satellite. 

This is meant to help people communicate when their mobile service is down. The company said it designed and built specific technology so that iPhone 14 devices can connect to satellites when they are not near a terrestrial antenna. 

iPhone 14 features include: 

– Improved battery life 
– Ceramic screens that are more durable 
– Better low-light performance on the front camera 
– Action mode that stabilizes the video 
– Security service called Emergency SOS via Satellite that can connect to emergency services even if the user is out of cellular or Wi-fi range. It's free for iPhone 14 users in the US and Canada. 

iPhone 14 Pro has many new features: 

– A screen that doesn't turn off when not in use. 
– Apple also introduced a new mode to make the battery last longer. 
– It uses Apple's latest A16 Bionic chip, which Apple says is built on a 4 nanometer process. 
– A 48 megapixel camera thanks to a larger sensor. 
– Better photos in a low light. 
– Redesigned flash.
