Driver of a "Mercedes Benz" vehicle was fined with an administrative measure of 12,000 new ALL, suspension of the driver's license for 16 months, as well as the deduction of three points from the driver's license.

Reason for this penalization is a video on social networks, where the young man is shown driving in the opposite direction to traffic on an interurban road.

However, the perpetrator in question was located and escorted to the Tirana Regional Police Station following identification.

"On 14.04.2023, from the monitoring of social networks, it was found that a vehicle driver was driving in the opposite direction to traffic, on an interurban road.

Immediately, the services of the Traffic Police organized work to identify the driver of the vehicle, who, after being located, was escorted to the Regional Police Station of Tirana.

The driver of the vehicle was punished with an administrative measure of 12,000 new lek, suspension of the driver's license for 16 months, and 3 points were deducted from the points of the driver's license", informed the police.
