Tirana Road Police was in action during Friday night to punish road violators. It has suspended 21 driving licenses and arrested 2 persons for drunk driving and speed over the limit. 

During 5 hours control in Saug-Teg road axis, 11 drivers were identified and punished with the suspension of their Driving License. Police caught drivers who were driving up to 160 km / h, even though the road was fully flowing. 

Meanwhile, during the controls in the streets of the capital with alcohol testers, 2 drunk drivers were arrested in flagrante delicto and 10 Driving Licenses were suspended for driving under the influence of alcohol.

"Tirana Road Traffic Police, in implementation of the plan of measures for the increase of controls during the weekend in order to prevent driving under the influence of alcohol or beyond the allowed speed limits, has continued controls in all roads of of the capital as well as on the interurban roads Tirana - Durrës and Tirana - Elbasan," Police stated.
