Tirana Prosecution Takes Perpetrator to Court for 'Murder with Intent' After Stabbing Citizen A.H. Over Fiancée Harassment
Tirana Prosecution Office has wrapped up its investigations and taken D.K. to court for the criminal offense of 'Murder with Intent,' as provided for in Article 76 of the Criminal Code.
The investigations into criminal case No. 5141/2024 revealed that on August 24, 2024, citizen A.H. died from stab wounds, while citizens D.K. and A.M. were arrested in flagrante delicto.
The incident began when the victim, A.H., and his friend, A.M., were suspected of verbally harassing a girl, an act witnessed from the balcony by citizen D.K., who then confronted the two men.
This citizen, during the confrontation, stabbed A.H. several times with a knife in different parts of the body, thus causing his death. The perpetrator stated that the persons in question harassed his fiancée, who was going to meet a relative of hers, and he, after seeing the entire scene from the balcony, went down, taking a knife with him, while accepting that during the conflict he stabbed him several times in the arm and abdomen.
Tirana Prosecution Office, considering the above mentioned, has requested that citizen D.K. be taken to court for the criminal offense of 'Murder with Intent.'"
