Albanians Are 30% Poorer than in 2013; Berisha

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha attacked the Rama government from Gramshi regarding the economic situation in the country. During the meeting held with the citizens of Gramsci as part of the "Albania in danger" tour, Berisha emphasized that today the citizens are 30% poorer than in 2013, at a time when they should have been twice as rich.

"I express my pleasure that I am here with you today and I also express my conviction that today the citizens of Gramsci and the whole of Albania, regardless of their party beliefs, follow with pain and regret the desolation of their society, of their nation, in the sense of rapid and dizzying depopulation.

In the sense of a poverty that does not decrease but only increases, in the sense of the development of certain phenomena such as the massification of drugs, our name as Albanians and our unfortunately representation in the world with the names of criminal organizations.

Today Albanians are at least 20-30% poorer than they were in 2013, at a time when they should have been twice as prosperous as in 2013. Dear friends, time is measured by the developments that take place during it, if we wonder what developments have happened these 8 years in the district of Gramshi, except for the Devolli project, which was approved by the previous government, nothing has happened", said Berisha.
