An accident occurred on Monday evening on the Mesopotam-Livadhja axis, near the village of Dermish, where two people were injured as a result.

A motorcycle ridden by 34-year-old Piro Miconi collided with a cow and lost direction.

Immediately after that, the engine was hit by a vehicle that was crossing the road axis, injuring the driver of the vehicle and the passenger, Kristi Leka.

The latter is out of danger for life in the Saranda hospital.

While the 34-year-old Miconi left this morning by helicopter to the Trauma hospital in Tirana due to his serious condition.

On its part, the police managed to identify and arrest the driver of the vehicle, citizen Mico Gerbura.
