Global Anti-Corruption Coordinator Richard Nephew saw Albanian judicial institutions in action today during meetings with SPAK Chief Altin Dumani, SPAK prosecutors, and representatives from the Anti-Corruption Ministry, the High Inspectorate of Declaration and Audit of Assets and Conflicts of Interest (HIDAACI), and Public Procurement Agency. 

Nephew and Albanian officials discussed ongoing efforts to strengthen judicial independence and combat corruption. 

The United States will continue to support the justice institutions that are strengthening Albania’s democracy as it advances along its path to the EU.
