The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj switch on this Monday the Christmas lights in the capital of Albania.

Surrounded by children and dozens of the resident of the capital, Veliaj brought up the light in the center and called everyone this period to be more collaborative and react with solidarity.

"This December, I would like to invite everyone, as we light these magical tree lights and decorations in Tirana, to light a small light in our hearts, to become a better persom, more supportive, to take care of someone who is in need. I would like to invite everyone, to light their minds and hearts and make Tirana truly a model city,” he said.
