The Independent Qualification Commission (IQC) announced on Tuesday the decision to confirm the incumbent judge of Berat, Adelajda Gjuzi.

During the hearing held on last Thursday, Gjuzi gave explanations regarding the donations made by the husband's parents as well as about two garages bought by the father-in-law, for which suspicions were raised that they may be hidden properties. Gjuzi objected to this finding.

Gjuzi received a positive assessment for the purity of the figure, while for the professionalism it was reported that no serious procedural violations were found. The vetting process for Judge Gjuzi was conducted by a panel chaired by Alma Faskaj, with rapporteur Lulzim Hamitaj and member Genta Tafa Bungo.
