A 40-year-old man has been remanded into custody this Sunday by Vlora police as he is accused of taking a person hostage together with several others and assaulting him with strong objects. 

Based on the released information, the incident took place at the beginning of this year, while the 40 year old was declared wanted after the court of Saranda had set the "prison arrest" measure against him. 

He is charged with the charges of "Illegal Deprivation of Liberty" and "Intentional Serious Wounding", committed in collaboration. The 40-year-old together with 4 others, already arrested, forcibly held a person in the vehicle, injured him with hard objects and left him unconscious on the street. 

Meanwhile, the procedural materials have been passed to the Prosecution of the Court of First Instance of Saranda General Jurisdiction for further actions.
