An anti-cannabis operation was conducted in the village of Fushë Gjormë of Kurbin, where the second floor of a warehouse was turned into a laboratory for cannabis cultivation.

A 24-year-old man has been handcuffed, while another has been declared wanted.

Police have discovered inside a warehouse, an environment adapted as a laboratory that served for the cultivation of narcotic plants, through heating with lamps.

A total of 205 potted cannabis plants were seized. A rifle firearm with mounted binoculars and various electrical devices used for the cultivation of narcotic plants were seized.

During the operation, the citizen V. H., 24 years old, resident in Katund i Ri, Kurbin, was arrested in flagrante delicto, and the citizen E. S., 41 years old, resident in Kurbin, was declared wanted.

Also, as material evidence were seized all the equipment that has served for the cultivation of cannabis, such as: electrical equipment, thermal electric lamps, cans with nutrients for narcotic plants.

The materials for further actions were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance Kurbin, for the criminal offenses "Cultivation of narcotic plants", "Illegal possession of weapons" and "Electricity theft".
