When Will CC Deal with Rama-Meta's Dispute on Ministers' Decree
The Constitutional Court has set May 18 as the date for the consideration of the confrontation between President Ilir Meta and Prime Minister Edi Rama, on the issue of the dispute of competencies for the decree of ministers.
The hearing was scheduled for March 25, but due to Covid infection of members of the Constitutional Court, it was postponed.
This lawsuit was filed by Rama after the clash with Meta for not decreeing former Foreign Minister Gent Cakaj. Meta refused to decree Cakaj, who then held the post of acting minister, while Prime Minister Rama was decreed as Foreign Minister.
