Who Are Albanian Gang Members That Got Arrested for Drugs in Italy
Names of the members of a mafia organization in Italy, who were arrested on Monday morning, where among the 26 arrested, 4 of them were Albanians, have been revealed.
The arrested are: Agim (Jimmy) Kuci, 39 years old, Eugers Nezha, 22 years old, Elvis Çollaku, 30 years old, Indrit Shaba, 28 years old.
Investigations carried out showed that the arrested, despite their young age, had entered with stability, very specific roles and important positions, within the group, where they knew the goals and methods attributed to mafia organizations.
Seventeen of the arrested suspects are accused of being members of a criminal association run by members of the De Marte-Gioffrè family, originally from Seminara and linked to 'Ndrangheta groups resident in Calabria, but with roots for years in the Diano area Navy, operating in the provinces of Imperia since 2020 and targeting the purchase, cultivation, transportation, resale and transfer of cocaine, hashish and marijuana
This organization had several residences belonging to members and used for operational meetings of members for the purpose of making decisions regarding the supply of narcotics, for negotiations with suppliers and buyers, for the storage, packaging and transfer of narcotics for the organization of trips to purchase narcotic substance, for the cultivation of marijuana plants.
Furthermore, the members had at their disposal 'cryptophones' for communication between members, for sending money and for collecting parcels containing narcotics but also weapons and cars of collaborators or rented specifically for the transport of drugs, which in some cases it was also loaded on buses operating on the Reggio Calabria-Ventimiglia route.
