WHO Director for Albania Visits Covid-2 Hospital

Director of the World Health Organization in Albania, Bettina Menne, visited the Covid-2 hospital "Shefqet Ndroqi", where people infected with coronavirus are being treated. 

Through a message on ‘Facebook’, WHO in Albania states that Director Menne met with the director of this hospital and was informed in detail about the work of the hospital, the challenges that its staff faces as well as the needs that arise. 


"WHO Director for Albania, Dr. Bettina Menne visited on Wednesday the COVID-2 Hospital - Shefqet Ndroqi Sanatorium University Hospital - in Tirana and had an in-depth discussion with the director of this hospital, Prof. Dr. Perlat Kapisyzi. 

Dr. Menne was informed in detail about the work of the hospital, the challenges that its staff faces as well as the needs that arise. 


WHO Director for Albania, Dr. Bettina Menne asked in detail about the clinical case management and protocols used for patients. The meeting also discussed the needs for human resources, overcoming plans, opportunities to increase testing capacity and other diagnostic equipment available in the hospital," WHO announced.
