Who Is the Victim of Conflict in Peqin Prison

Arben Lleshi is one of the convicts who was involved in the serious incident on Friday noon in the high security prison of Peqin, where he was killed. He was extradited from Great Britain in May 2016, after being sentenced to 32 years in prison. Arben Lleshi, from the village of Laç-Bruçi of Mati, is sentenced to 32 years in prison for murder, by a court in Britain. He is the perpetrator of the murder of Agim Hoxha on April 10, 2012.

The British media wrote then that Hoxha was killed in an apartment in the English city of Southampton, and then his body was burned in a "Mercedes Benz" type car. Lleshi's brother, 39-year-old Afrim Lleshi, was also sentenced to prison for this incident, who admitted before the court that he cooperated in exterminating the victim's body.

The true cause of the murder is never made known by the brothers. In the trial held three years ago, it was heard how the perpetrator of the murder, who denied the charge, had gone on the day of the crime to buy a crowbar and wire, as well as other materials that he used for the murder and burning of the victim's body in a Mercedes car. After the decision, Hoxha's family said in a statement that, "what we were looking for was justice for Agim and justice was given today." Now Agim's soul can rest in peace." According to British media reports, the two Leshi brothers were involved in drug trafficking, an activity they had started since they were teenagers.
