Winner for 'Auto Moto Park Albania' Project Announced

Prime Minister Edi Rama participated in the international competition of the "Auto Moto Park Albania" project that will be built in the city of Elbasan where the 5 best design studios of such structures, authors of the most popular Formula 1 tracks , have expressed interest in this Albanian investment.

Rama noted that the presentations were impressive but the competition for its construction was won by the company of the famous former Austrian Formula 1 pilot Alexander Wurz and his father Franz Wurz, a well-known personality for his initiatives in the field of road safety.

The track will be more than 3 km long where a series of activities will take place, races according to the standards of the International Automobile Federation.

"48 hours ago, about 30 large international companies came to Albania to familiarize themselves with the project of the New Port of Durrës in Porto Romano, an influx of foreign enterprises that was unimaginable until a few years ago. Today, four design companies among the largest in the world, for automobile circuits, were in Tirana for the international competition announced by DPSHTRRSH for the Auto Motopark that we will build in Elbasan. All four with visionary projects and impressive presentations by the company leaders themselves, which were prepared very seriously even though the practice chosen was the most unusual, without any advance payment. In 48 hours, these are two exemplary proofs of the new image of Albania, the growing interest in our country as an interesting destination, not only for tourism but also for business, as well as the increase in credibility in Albania that has opened negotiations with the EU, and that today has a completely different international reputation than it did a few years ago. Today's competition was won by the company of the famous former Austrian Formula 1 driver Alexander Wurz and his father Franz Wurz, a well-known personality for his initiatives in the field of road safety", stressed Rama.
