A 21-year-old has been arrested this Wednesday morning by Saranda Police after being caught with narcotics and firearms in the car.

Arrest of the young man was made possible after a police search of the 'Benz' type vehicle that was moving on the Sarandë-Ksamil road axis near the bay of Harta.

During the physical check on the 21-year-old and the check on the vehicle, the police services found and seized as material evidence a firearm, a pistol with combat ammunition, a quantity of cocaine doses and a significant amount of money of 3,180 EUR and 45,000 ALL.

Following the actions, during the search of the apartment, the police also found a shotgun that this citizen was carrying without a permit, as well as 460 ammunition.

A 22-year-old passenger who was travelling with the detainee was also arrested on the criminal charge of "Failure to report a crime".
