“If you don’t accept we will invade Italy” – General Muhoozi Kainerugaba continued amused in his tweets, so much so that at one point he also socialized the photos of his meeting with the Italian ambassador Massimiliano Mazzanti, describing it as the negotiating table for the bride Giorgia Meloni. But then exaggerate given that a tweet even appeared in which he jokingly stated that “if she (Giorgia Meloni) does not accept the homage, she will have to invade Italy to wash away the insult”. However, someone must have pointed out to him that the message could have created some diplomatic friction and so the general decided to delete it. But the offer of the 100 cows, that is not, is still valid. But who is this general?

This is the only child of the current one self-proclaimed president Yoweri Musuveni. As she chooses the “cows”, we choose the “flowers”. The symbolic meanings are distinctly different. It is useless to be “fake fools” ignoring the clear sexual and materialist allusion, not to say “sexist” of this association between cow and woman, among other things cloying and in bad taste. Furthermore, the “bullying” implied in certain statements is clear and clear, which in the end result in a clumsy attempt to make irony. In any case, I would like to remind you that from the point of view of the “myth”, the Italian and Western man has always been associated with great seductive abilities, precisely because of his class, his elegance and the ability to respect women, especially when they hold an institutional position.

Western man has his own tradition of paying homage to his woman. Official engagement is a tradition that has its own etiquette. Although it has become a bit out of use (in its most traditional meaning), it always represents a very important moment in the life of a couple. A historical tradition that therefore includes a whole series of behaviors and gestures that many consider futile or dated but which have their own logic and reason, among these we find the gift of flowers, generally white and donated together with the ring during the ceremony. the white flower represents the gift of “light” to the woman who will no longer be alone, but guarded by man.
