The Prosecution has started interrogating the customs officers and scanner employees in the Port of Durrës, from where the container with 119 kg of cocaine seized in Vaqarr passed. 

Investigators are questioning the port employees to find out how the container could come out clean while passing the scanner, while during the control in the warehouse where it was taken for discharge in Vaqarr, Tirana, narcotics were found. 

According to the blue uniforms, the truck with the container with bananas has passed transit in a port in Italy. The Italian authorities have ascertained the absence of the seal, and for this reason exercised control and have ascertained the absence of boxes of bananas. 

After that, the container was closed and resealed and then arrived at the port of Durres. From the control in the scanner, the container turned out to be clean and left the port with the destination of the firm's warehouses on the outskirts of the city of Tirana. 

Along the Durrës - Tirana axis, in a place called Romanat, the truck transporting the container was stopped by still unidentified persons, who for several minutes exercised control over the truck and the container with bananas and then left quickly. 

Representatives of the banana importing company have informed the State Police about this situation. Following the investigation, the blue uniforms made possible the arrest of citizens H.S., 63 years old and G.K., 31 years old, resident in Tirana, drivers of the company, and M.M., 34 years old, resident in Tirana, administrator of an import-export company with Latin American countries.
