Albania is improving its environment for foreign investors

120K Foreign Citizens Came for Business, up by 57% y/y

The tourism sector is following the same positive trajectory as foreign investments. According to data from the Institute of Statistics, during the first seven months of the year, the number of foreign citizens who came to Albania for business purposes reached almost 120 thousand.

The increase of around 57% compared to the same period of the year shows a great interest in the country as a favorable investment destination.

This growth is not only a sign of positive economic indicators but also shows that Albania is improving its environment for foreign investors. According to the data of the Bank of Albania, during the first half of the year, foreign direct investment flows reached Euro 0.75 billion, marking an increase of 8% compared to the same period last year.

New investment opportunities, improving infrastructures, and an attractive offer for tourism are some of the factors that contribute to this growing trend. This situation means that Albania is becoming more and more attractive for those who want to develop businesses and use the extraordinary potential it offers.

According to INSTAT During the first seven months of the year, the number of foreign citizens who come to Albania for business purposes has reached 120 thousand, or 57% more than the same period of the previous year.
