Former democrat Member of Parliament, Gerti Bogdani died this Wednesday at 44-year-old age.

Bogdani was born on July 7, 1980 in Tirana. He was gratuadet at University of New York and ended studies with golden medal.

He started his political career on 2007, when he run for the Democratic Party, wining at Municipality Unit No.10 in the capital. 

In 2011, he was elected vice president of the International Young Democrat Union (IYDU) and then, in January 2012, vice president. In September 2015, he was elected Chairman of IYDU, at the Congress held in Lisbon, Portugal, thus becoming the first Albanian politician to hold such a high position in an international organization.
