The court of first instance in Durrës has given a ‘prison arrest’ for Denis Doda, administrator of the company "Fish Co Tirana", where 7 kg of cocaine were seized in a seafood container.

The arrested Denis Doda, has denied having knowledge or being implicated in drug trafficking, rejecting the allegations of the prosecution.

After hearing the parties, the trial panel imposed the coercive measure of imprisonment for the 35-year-old.

The discovery of the cocaine drug came in the framework of the police operation codenamed "urban", as a result of increased controls, based on the risk analysis made by the Permanent Task Force, which operates in the Port of Durres.

During the detailed control that the police exercised in the container loaded with seafood that had left Ecuador on behalf of the company "Fish Co Tirana", based in Tirana, they found 7 kg of cocaine.

The drug packages were hidden in the part of the ventilation lids, while next to them was found a GPS, which was seized as material evidence.
