The acting mayor of Himara, Jorgo Goro, was arrested this Saturday following an order of the Special Prosecution against Corruption (SPAK).

Albaniandailynews.com learned that with him, were arrested four other persons, one identified as Mihallaq Bonjaku.

The arrest came after the criminal charges made by the Fredi Beleri, who is also arrested on election crimes. 

Their arrest is linked with the strategic investment status of Artan Gaçi, the husband of the former Minister of Foreign Affairs Olta Xhaçka.

Goro is suspected for abuse of duty.
