As Albania is facing the global coronavirus pandemic, the government declared on Wednesday that will help financially small and medium businesses. The decision of the Council of Ministers underlines that financial assistance amounting to ALL 4000 (30 EUR) will be given to manufacturing businesses that implement the coronavirus protocol, for the period November-December.

The support scheme is calculated and given to the enterprises, whose employees appear in the updated payroll of the taxpayer, for the month of June 2020, submitted before the date of entry into force of this decision.

Enterprises that are not active on the date of entry into force of the decision and have not submitted an annual declaration for 2019 (profit tax or simplified profit tax) do not benefit from financial assistance.

8. The application for the benefit of financial assistance is made by the enterprises in the e-filling system, stating:

a) Beneficiary NIPT;

b) the total number of employees for whom the entity benefits;

c) the bank, where the beneficiary has a current bank account;

d) IBAN of the bank account.
