Albania Climbs Three Positions in FIFA Rankings

The draw in the Czech Republic, but above all the historic victory against Poland, moved Albania to 62nd place in the FIFA rankings. The national team won three ranks in the world classification, which was achieved by registering the highest number of points accumulated by 207 representatives.

The 2-0 victory in the National Arena, with the spectacular goals of Jasir Asani and Mirlind Daku, gave wings to the Reds and Blacks not only in the dream of qualifying for the 2024 European Championship in Germany. The next rivals of the National Team, the Czech Republic, are positioned in 37th place.

The month of September was not positive for Kosovo, which lost two positions and now finds itself in the 111th place of the world classification. The historic draw against Switzerland in Pristina was not enough, as everything good was undone by the defeat in Bucharest against Romania.

As for the leader, with the perfect start to the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Argentina consolidated their position in first place. The "Albiceleste" are followed by France, Brazil and England, while Belgium, Croatia and the Netherlands have not changed their positions in the first seven places. The top 10 is completed by Portugal, Italy and Spain.
