Albania Flooded, DP Blames Streets’ Damage on Govt’s Corruption

Former MP of the Democratic Party (DP) Nada Meçorapaj was Sunday on the road segment in Borsh, which has collapsed after the massive rainfall in the area and voiced residents' concern about the lack of road maintenance.

There, she pointed out that the collapse of the road has not happened due to some earthquake, but due to the corruption of the current government.

Furthermore, Meçorapaj brought to attention Prime Minister Rama's promises for a standard road, but referring to the two-way road in Borsh, she stressed that PM Rama does not keep any promises, as he thinks only of himself and the oligarchs.

"The road split in two is not a consequence of any earthquake, but of the corruption of this government. There are about 14 million EUR that Edi Rama gives to the Salillari company to maintain the South axis, but there is only 1 worker at the scene and no attempt to fix it.

Little rainfall and the theft of citizens comes to the surface, bringing out the serious situation of misgovernance, abuse, theft, corruption. Nothing good can happen with Edi Rama on top of the government. We have 105 more days to make the change", said the former MP.
