At the eighth meeting of the two Albanian governments of Kosovo and Albania, which took place this Monday in Pristina, 19 cooperation agreements were signed. They aim to strengthen cooperation between countries and to facilitate the lives of citizens.

These agreements include the mutual recognition of the licenses of mediators and the implementation of alternative sentences given by the courts of the two countries. Also they include the construction of the Durrës-Prishtina railway line. 

One of the points of this agreement is the customs union and admission of students to the Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Albania and the Republic of Kosovo. 

Below are the full agreements signed:

1. Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Education and Sports of the Republic of Albania and the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation of the Republic of Kosovo for the Admission of Students in Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Albania and the Republic of Kosovo. 

2. Technical Protocol of the border point Vërmicë - Morinë. 

3. Technical Protocol of Local Border Traffic. 

4. Agreement for cooperation in the field of Civil Status. 

5. Proposal for the establishment of Joint Working Groups for the Study, Evaluation and Drafting of the Draft Agreement on the Customs Union. 

6. Administrative agreement for the implementation of the social security agreement between the Republic of Albania and the Republic of Kosovo. 

7. Memorandum of Cooperation in the energy sector between the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Kosovo and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy of the Republic of Albania. 

8. Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy of the Republic of Albania and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Kosovo for Cooperation on the Development of the Vlora LNG Terminal. 

9. Agreement on the study of the situation and the improvement of the roads of the cross-border villages that connect the border areas Albania - Kosovo. 

10. Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy of the Republic of Albania and the Ministry of Environment and Infrastructure of the Republic of Kosovo for the Co-financing of the Feasibility Study for the Construction of the Railway Line Durrës - Prishtina. 

11. Cooperation Agreement for Exchange of Experiences in Technical Processes Between: Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development (MAFRD), of the Republic of Kosovo and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MAFRD), of the Republic of Albania. 

12. Cooperation Agreement in the Field of Implementation of Support Programs for Agriculture and Rural Development Between: The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development of the Republic of Kosovo and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Republic of Albania. 

13. Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Health for the Cross-Border Mutual Service between the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Albania and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kosovo. 

14. Cooperation Agreement between the National Agency of Drugs and Medical Devices, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Albania and the Kosovo Agency for Medicinal Products, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kosovo. 

15. Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Tourism and Environment of the Republic of Albania and the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade of the Republic of Kosovo for the Establishment of a Joint Digital Platform of Tourism Information and Promotion. 

16. Agreement between the Minister of State for Youth and Children of the Republic of Albania and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of the Republic of Kosovo for Cooperation in the Field of Youth. 

17. Cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Albania and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kosovo in the field of Mountain Search and Rescue and territorial waters.
