Albania’s Constitutional Court to Review Government Request on Deputy PM Balluku
A crucial meeting of Albania’s Constitutional Court judges is expected to take place on 4 December, where they will examine the Government’s request related to the case of Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.
The court is set to deliberate on Thursday, when it is expected to decide whether the Government’s request will be admitted. The outcome of this procedural step will determine the next phase of the case.
Depending on the Constitutional Court’s decision, judges will subsequently rule on whether to uphold or overturn the suspension measure issued by the Special Court Against Corruption and Organised Crime (GJKKO).
Further details are expected following the court’s formal announcement later this week.
