Albania to Buy Six Bayraktar Drones

Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama said that during the last meeting with the Turkish President, Rexhep Taip Erdogan, he talked about the agreement to supply the "Bayraktar" drone. 

During an interview for local media, PM Rama announced that Albania will receive 6 drones from Turkey, which will be used for civil services. 

Excerpts from the conversation: 

Question: Did you talk to Erdogan about Iran's attacks? 

Rama: No, we have not opened it as an issue at all. We have talked about the necessity of drones, we are finalizing the agreement to receive Bajraktar armed drones from Turkey. 

Question: Will Albania pay? 

Rama: Yes, definitely? 

Question: Are they expensive? 

Rama: For the service they will provide us, they are reasonable. 

Question: How many drones will we get? 

Rama: They are in packages, they are 1+2, which means we will take 6 and they will be distributed for civil services, for illegal constructions, destruction of forests.
