Albanian Drug Dealers' Group Dismantled in Portugal

Portuguese police have destroyed a drug deal of Albanian traffickers in Portugal. The Albanians were registered as employed by a Spanish couple who owned a truck company in a 34m-euro deal.

The boss was a 44-year-old Spanish truck manager. He and his wife used the fleet trucks they managed as the most common means of transporting narcotics to various European countries.

Portugal, namely the Algarve coast, was used as a place for the unloading of drugs coming by boat from Morocco. The Algarve Judicial Police managed to prevent a major criminal network deal, which if implemented would earn around EUR 34 million euros.
